The part you cannot download
Low poly models hotlink from the public CDN with no account. Pro gives your account its own CDN path for the HD editions: one import, no build step, and the model stays current when it is rebuilt. Your files still download too: this is the convenient way, not the only way.

Questions
What happens to my assets if I cancel?
Everything you downloaded while subscribed is yours forever, under the same commercial licence, with no attribution and no expiry. That is not a courtesy, it is the licence. What stops is the part that was always a live service: the HD CDN, uncapped remix baking, and new HD editions as they land. Every low poly model stays free either way.
What is an HD edition?
The same model built again, finer: high poly, with PBR materials generated in code, and every slider still works. 1,425 HD editions and counting, 413 of them in the last 7 days. HD comes with Pro and Lifetime; the low poly model it is built from stays free.
Can I download the files, or is it CDN only?
Download as much as you like, per asset or per kit, and keep it. The CDN exists because importing one URL beats vendoring two hundred modules into your repo, not to keep the files away from you. The one exception is the whole catalogue in a single file, which comes with the one-time Lifetime plan rather than the monthly one.
I subscribe. Can I move to Lifetime?
Yes, and every dollar you have already paid for Pro comes off the price of the seat. The button on the Lifetime card is your own price with that taken off. Your subscription is cancelled the moment the upgrade goes through, so nothing is charged twice and nothing renews afterwards. It is one payment from then on, for good.
The Founders Club is gone. What now?
The Founders Club has sold out and will never be offered again: the founder badge and the member numbers stay with the 100 people who took one. In its place the Lifetime plan is open: the same everything-forever, $100 once, and 55 of the 200 seats are still open. Whichever seat you hold, what you own never changes.
What is remix baking?
Every asset is a small program with typed knobs, not a frozen mesh. Ask for any combination of those knobs and the server builds that exact GLB on demand and caches it. If you use the ES module you keep the knobs at runtime anyway; if your engine wants a GLB, this is the part that has to stay live.
My card failed. Does my site break?
No. Access continues for 30 days past the end of a paid period, for a cancellation and a failed payment alike. A declined card should never take down your site while you are asleep.
Is there a student or regional price?
Yes. Polyfork Pro is $50 for 2 years for students anywhere, and for people living in low-income and lower-middle-income countries. It is granted on a short application that a person reads rather than a code you have to find. One payment, nothing renews: apply here.
Is the free tier a trial?
No, it is permanent. Every low poly model is free, all 2,630 of them, and every new one as it ships: downloadable with a free account, whole kits included, and hotlinkable with no account at all. Only the HD editions are paid.
